Bewl being a natural reservoir has wonderful scenery and a wide range of wildlife: all this in addition to superb sailing on the largest area of inland water in South East England with over 700 acres of water Bewl Valley Sailing Club is a dinghy and windsurfer sailing club. The aim of the club is promote sailing for dinghy and board sailors and provide training for members from beginners to the highest levels of sailing. Although the Club was founded in 1967 active sailing was not possible until 1977. Today over 30 years later we have some 1200 members. The Clubhouse is open every day (except Christmas Day).
