The Société Nautique de Genève is a yacht club based in Geneva (Switzerland). It was founded in 1872 with the goal of developing nautical sports and high level sailors. Currently the club has about 3000 members. It is the current holder of the America’s Cup, which it won in 2003 and 2007 through its Alinghi syndicate.
