The present 'Skye Sailing Club' is formed from the old 'Portree Sailing Club' and the old 'Skye Sailing Club' which was a club based in Armadale in the south of the Island. The two old clubs amalgamated in 1998 to form the present club. The aim of the club is to promote and facilitate the sport of Sailing in and around the Isle of Skye. The club has an open policy encouraging anyone from any background to take up and enjoy our sport. One of the main ways we keep the club inclusive is by keeping the fee's low - membership and course fees.
