NUSC is very much a hands-on Club, with a high percentage of members owning and maintaining their own boats. Some moorings are available and new members without boats will find plenty of opportunities for crewing. NUSC runs an active social programme with a popular clubnight every Tuesday and many members will be found on site at weekends. In the season from April to October there are club cruises to destinations both near and far and races for the members fleet of cruising yachts. During the winter months the club runs a program of RYA approved shore based courses.
