Arran Yacht Club was formed in 1956 to promote the sport of sailing on the Isle of Arran. The club is based at Lamlash Pier and as well as owning its premises has a long term lease on the Pier and adjoining shore. Lamlash Harbour is an ideal area for sailing with relatively sheltered waters and scenery to die for. From the water you get views of Lamlash Village, Holy Isle and the hills behind, including Goat Fell.
