History
It was in 1948 that a group of friends found a patch of river bank they could use as a base from which to start their club. Over the years, the members built a clubhouse, put in a slipway, laid a mooring in Hoo creek, set up workshop with storage and installed all the necessary services for a successful DIY club. We now have 60 members, whose boats and interests range fron canoes and dinghies to sailing and motor cruisers, fishing and more. Because the club has lay up space and launch facilities, using our own tractors, we are not restricted to just one haul out/launch date per year. This gives us a very flexible year.
