History

Located on the northwest corner of Pelican Lake in the heart of Southwestern Manitoba, the Pelican Yacht Club is the region's sailing and recreational boating center. Our public boat launch and day use slips are located in a protected harbor that is home to over 30 keelboats as well as a number of power boats. Since 2004, the Pelican Yacht Club has provided a safe, accessible facility for disabled sailors, including two Martin 16's for the use of club members. The Club provides a base for a biweekly races, summer long sailing instruction for sailors of all ages and abilities, and a variety of social events including our world famous potluck buffets.
