History

We are a family of boaters located in the Tacoma, Washington area, who enjoy what the Puget Sound has to offer. Our dues are small because we have no clubhouse to oversee. We enjoy cruising with our club from March to October. We have boats ranging in size from 24 to 50 feet, both power and sail. We have 50+ reciprocal clubs from Olympia to the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands. We enjoy reciprocal use of the Tacoma Yacht Club and its facilities, participating in the Daffodil Marine Parade and the Lighted Christmas Parade. Similar privileges are enjoyed at the Seattle Yacht Club. Many of these relationships have been enjoyed since 1959. We look out for each other; we help and encourage each other in our boating experiences. The knowledge you can gain from our members comes from years of local boating experience. We have many natives of Washington and they have secret knowledge of the area.
