History

The club was established as a private organization in 1935 for the purpose of providing to its members; recreational sailing opportunities, sailing related social events and facilities to support these key activities. Annually the club sponsors a variety of social events and sailing races including seasonal Series races and a number of special event races. Most leisure sailing is done during the week and on Saturdays while racing events are usually held on Sunday afternoons and holiday weekends.
