The Club is nestled on the south shore of Lake Couchiching, off Cedar Island Road, a 15 minute walk to downtown Orillia. The clubhouse itself overlooks Pumpkin Bay and the beautiful clear waters of Lake Couchiching. We are an active, volunteer operated club with about 50 member families. Larger boats are moored at floating docks and swing moorings, while dinghies and catamarans are accommodated on the Club beach. Activities include regular races, day sailing and a variety of social events. In cooperation with the City of Orillia Parks and Recreation Department, the Champlain Sailing Club also operates an annual sail training program for youth and adults.
