History
A group of young men, who were interested in Outboard Racing, decided to organize an Outboard Racing Club for the purpose of putting on their own races and to better promote Stock-hydro Racing. This all began to take place in the fall of 1949. Riverview Yacht Club has a beautiful marina located on the Ottawa River. There are 249 modern, full amenity docks, as well as 7 guest docks available for members of affiliated yacht clubs.
