History
The Club is based at Lake Iskur near Sofia, and was established in 1957. It comprises 68 members and 43 boats, including 15 Optimist and 7 Cadet children’s dinghies, 6 Laser dinghies and 5 “470” class. As well as recreational sailing and sail training courses on Lake Iskur, the Club takes part in a number of regattas in Bulgaria and abroad throughout the sailing season. The Club is a member of the Bulgarian Sailing Federation, and in 2007 ranked First place in the Federation’s overall standings with over 6500 pts.
