The purpose of this Club shall be to promote yachting and boating; to foster seamanship, aquatic sports, activities, and facilities, for recreation, in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, Michigan and environs; to encourage the development and improvements of the harbor formed by the St. Joseph River and its tributaries; and to own and maintain such real and personal property deemed necessary.
