The Bayboro Yacht Club, with its unofficial headquarters at the Harborage Marina in Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, was founded in 1994 with seven goals: To promote recreation boating, both power and sail, throughout the Tampa Bay area. To organize and promote boating activities among the membership which may include sailboat races, sail-aways to other yacht clubs and/or destinations, boating and instructional safety programs
