Brixham Junior Sailing Club was formed in 1989 by Steve Linley-Shaw and a group of dedicated volunteer members of Brixham Yacht Club. The club shows youngsters the joys of sailing & teaches them how to do it properly. The club is manned totally by volunteers - no one is paid. RYA Instructors have CRB checks and safety boat drivers are qualified by the Royal Yachting Association. The club is a recognised RYA Training Centre and is an Onboard Club.
