The Blue Peter Yacht Club was founded in 1955 by a small group of fellow sailors living in the Salisbury area. Meetings are held during winter months for talks/lectures on sailing related topics. A summer rally is held in the Solent in May-June. Fitting-Out Supper in a local pub, restaurant or other suitable establishment. There are four meetings a year - on a Thursday evening in January, February, March and November at the White Hart Hotel, St John's St, Salisbury: guests welcome.
