History
R.I.B.C. has been established since 1957, encompassing various types of water sports including boat fishing, dinghy and cruiser sailing / racing, windsurfing and kayaking. With 24 hour launching facilities in Walney Channel we are blessed with some of the finest coastal sailing to be found. The club has a full racing program for both Cruisers and Dinghies. We also have a busy social callender in the well equiped club house. The Clubhouse, has a large patio and barbeque. A fully licensed bar offers a range of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks at phenomenally low prices, food is available from the new kitchen from this season. There are picnic tables on the patio which is a fine spot to view the club racing from.
