Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria was founded on March 15th 1908, at Salón de los Escudos in Gabinete Literario of Las Palmas. It was built upon pillars on the sea and, because of its post-romantic style, it represents a proud for the city. The author of the project was D. Adolfo San Martín, first directiveboard member, and its founder and first President was D. Gustavo Navarro Nieto. Since its foundation, Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria has been the Island´s open door, where many celebrities that visit us have been welcomed and smothered with attentions. With an impressive list of winners getting National, European, World and Olympic awards, Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria has probably the best sports record in the world.
