History
Paignton Sailing Club is predominantly a dinghy racing club and is host to Paignton Regatta. The Club also provides a summer and winter race programmes for people who enjoy getting out on the water and indulging in a bit of friendly competition. Racing takes place in the bay usually no more than a mile or so from the harbour on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday evenings (during the summer months). In addition there are special interest races such as the Orestone and Round the Bay race and those during the August Regatta season.
