HRSC has a history of regional, national and olympic successes, runs weekly club racing and The Garmin Hamble Winter Series, the premier sailing series on the Solent. The club is an RYA Training School, running sailing & powerboat courses for adults & children. Located on the west bank of the River Hamble near Southampton in Hampshire HRSC has changing rooms, catering facilities, a bar and a number of deep water moorings for members.
