The club’s origin date back to 1892 making it one of the oldest yacht clubs in Otago. We cater for a range of sailing interests from keelboats to trailer yachts and centerboarders. A full program in the summer offers a range of events including harbour, coastal and ocean races. We operate keeler haul-out facilities and visiting boats are always welcome. Our clubhouse is a popular venue for private functions and for local organisations to hold meetings and events. Please contact us if you wish to make a booking for your function. On sunday mornings throughout the season we run ‘learn to sail’ and ‘learn to race’ programmes which cater for all ages, new members are always welcome.
