Services

The Club is located on the foreshore of Victor Harbor overlooking Granite Island and the waters of Encounter Bay. Most sailing takes place within the waters protected by the Granite Island breakwater. The licensed bar opens sailing days during the season and the galley also opens on sailing days to cater for lunch and the occasional evening meal. There is ample car parking, a grassed rigging area with access to the beach, a fenced off area, and plenty of beach to rig on. The club owns three support boats and a tractor. The Victor Harbor/Goolwa Sea Rescue facility is located next to the Club and their boats are available for any on water emergencies. Club Racing is mainly conducted on Saturday afternoons. The annual Rum Race is run in early May each season, which involves sailing around the local islands (weather permitting). The Club is a Yachting Australia Discover Sailing Centre. It is accredited to run the Discover Sailing Courses.
