Services

Mordialloc Sailing Club is family orientated with a commitment to advancing and promoting off the beach sailing. Among the classes actively sailed at Mordialloc are: Flying 15s, Tasars, Sabres, 29ers, Lasers, Sabots, 420s, Pacers and 125s. Sailing activities are supported by a fleet of modern race management and rescue craft that includes two 18′ SwiftCraft Dominators powered by 135 HP Mercury motors, 3 hard bottom rescue ducks and a Bertram 25 Flybridge Cruiser as start boat. All craft are manned by A.Y.F. accredited operators.

History

Mordialloc Sailing Club was officially established in its present location in the late 1950s and it has connections with sailing at Mordialloc since the 1890s. Originally located on the island as part of the Mordialloc Motor Yacht Club, it broke away to form its own club in 1946.
