The Old Mill Yacht Club was organized in 1894 on Jamaica Bay and the Charter of incorporation was issued by the State of New York on September 17th,1896. On March 23'', 1910 the Old Mill Yacht Club, Inc. merged with the Pleasant Point Marine Club, Inc. and is now identified as Old Mill Yacht Club of Pleasant Point, Inc.
