Founded in 1987, the Manhattan Sailing Club reintroduced recreational sailing to the harbor after a 60 year absence. Today, our club has 900 members who participate in our many racing and cruising programs. e are an active and enthusiastic group who share a common passion-- sailing! Our members are of all ages and come from all walks of life. Our club is inclusive and we encourage more people to learn to sail. Every year, more and more sailors discover the beauty of New York Harbor and become part of our sailing community.
