The Kona Sailing Club is a non-profit, ALL volunteer run sailing club. Founded in 1980 by 13 charter members who broke away from an established but strictly social local yacht club. Kona Sailing Club was organized to be managed by and for sailors who actually get out on the water, and it has evolved into a very successful venue for organized sailing in West Hawaii.
