History
The Llanbedr & Pensarn Yacht (LPYC) is situated on a sea estuary, or lagoon, called Mochras, where the river Artro enters the Irish Sea. All types of boating are catered for, dinghy and cruiser racing on handicap, fishing, cruising and just messing about in boats. The estuary is a natural area with a good deal of wildlife and only limited access by public road. It has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Children are most welcome, the Artro Estuary being as safe a place as any water can be, and the club provides a safety boat on race and activity days.
