History

The Welland Yacht Club has been sailing on the river Welland in Spalding, Lincolnshire, for nearly 60 years with an active membership which holds dinghy racing every Sunday from April until December. In addition there is an active cruising section sailing out Surfleet Seas End, a busy social programme and sinse 2012, the club is a fully recognised RYA Training Centre. Guests are always welcome, whether regular sailors or those interested in taking up sailing for the first time. The clubhouse is well equipped with a licensed bar, kitchen, ladies and gents showers.
