Our mission is to promote the sport of sailing and fellowship among our members and the sailing community in general and encourage skill development for safe sailing, whether for competition or cruising. We organize the 'round the buoys' races for the local sailing community and with our sister club in Ashtabula Ohio we have hosted international long distance sailing in Lake Erie for almost 50 years. Our membership includes a fleet of solings and in 2011 we were host to the 2011 Canadian Soling Championship. We are home to the 2011 North American Soling Champions.
